Mary cut out fish from old food trays she had saved. They spin and twirl from the chandelier.

On her daily walks, she discovered all sorts of useful things. She found old keys, sticks, feathers, dried-out pens, fishhooks, and bottle caps. Rusty tools, rope, plastic combs, and empty spools were only a few of the items in her collection. She stored all of her found treasures in the basement. There was a box for each category: plastic toys in one box, rubber balls of every size in another, and old watches and clocks in still another box. There was a box marked “junk” and even a box of boxes! She stored all of this because she knew it would come in handy someday. Mary used everything. She wasted nothing. With her vibrant imagination, she could see great possibilities for any piece of junk.
